European Commission publishes NPL questionnaire
Debitos is supporting the European Commission since the invitation to the roundtable on European NPL platforms in 2019. Meanwhile Timur Peters, the CEO of Debitos, is nominated as an Expert of the NPL Advisory Panel at the European Commission since its inception and is asking for support on the current survey activity from the European Commission.
As part of the objective to develop the non-performing loans secondary markets, the Non-performing loans Advisory Panel, established by the European Commission DG FISMA, is gathering feedback from market experts across European countries with a short NPL questionnaire. Please find the link below:
European Commission’s NPL questionnaire
The Non-performing loans (NPL) Advisory Panel is a consultative expert group set up by the Commission Services (DG FISMA) in order to provide advice and expertise in the area of non-performing loans (NPLs) to the Commission and its services. All replies will be kept anonymous (and questions do not refer to data, but to certain features of your local NPL markets), and accessible only the secretariat of the NPL Advisory Panel. The NPL Advisory Panel might incorporate some findings from the survey in its ongoing work, including a possible publication on the topic in the course of 2025.
The questionnaire has 6 tabs with several multiple choice qualitative questions. Your answers should refer to the NPL market in your country. The questionnaire will be open until 5 April 2024.
In case of technical problems, questions or if you wish to submit further contribution on the subject of the survey, please reach out to FISMA-NON-PERFORMING-LOANS@ec.europa.eu
